Île de Nantes is an island of the center of the city of Nantes in France. This project takes place in the old industry part of the city, responding to a big urban scale. Alexandre Chemetoff is the architect and developer of the project. He decides to keep the industrial activities and the building, and in order to revive the area he is adding uses such as housing and public facilities, such as parks, bikeways and public buildings. The interesting part of the project is actually the method. By making a final masterplan in the beggining, in order to explain the project to the different social agents involved, he continuously revises and adapts the masterplan each three months, through a process of meeting and rethinking it with the evolving social agents.
